ABOUT ME

As an expert by experience, mental coach and weight consultant, I help you lose weight in a pleasant way and enjoy food again without guilt or shame… and especially without diets or hassle!

Do you feel like a ‘prisoner’ of food? You are occupied with it almost all day long. You hop from one diet attempt to the next. Your body weight yo-yos up and down. One moment you are snacking, snacking and bingeing, only to deny yourself all food the next. If you recognize yourself in this, then I can help you.

You become aware of your eating behavior, so that you can change this and your body weight in a positive way. You learn to deal with your thoughts and feelings that make you eat. And how to accept yourself and your body.

I myself have experienced the obsession, frustration, shame and guilt of emotional eating and binge eating for 22 years. When I reached my emotional low point, I began to investigate why I had to eat away those unpleasant emotions and try the latest diet or weight loss method.

This eventually became a 5+ year intensive research where I tried all sorts of tests, exercises and theories on myself. Now I have a healthy emotional relationship with food. I am also 30 kilos lighter and I enjoy food again without guilt or shame.

What gives me…let me put it this way…the right to help you lose weight in a pleasant way and to enjoy food again without guilt, to get a pleasant and good relationship with food again? To help you get control over snacking, nibbling and binging. In short, what are my personal experiences and what knowledge do I have?

Let me start with my personal experiences. As a child I was overweight and was bullied quite a bit in primary school. It wasn’t until secondary school that this bullying reached the proverbial straw. I was more than fed up with my oversized body.

On a diet for the first time at the age of 12

My mother was always on some kind of diet and I can still remember when she had just started the mayo diet. And I decided to join her.
